    Site Operative - Leicestershire

    Countryside Operative: Following our continued success Three Shires Ltd are currently seeking experienced Countryside Operatives to work in a commercial world with specific knowledge, experience and qualifications in the forestry, fencing and landscaping sectors of the construction and rail industry.

    Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high degree of practical knowledge and skill across the range of Three Shires Ltd operations including the erection of fencing, environmental and commercial landscaping, and forestry operations.

    Plant and machinery qualifications will be considered extremely advantageous, although training will be given to the right candidate particularly NPTC Chainsaw/PA1/PA6 Certification and CPCS Excavator, Tractor and Tele-handler qualifications and PTS.

    Successful candidates must be able to work within a team and communicate effectively with other members of staff at all levels in what is a physically demanding role. Candidates should be able to follow instructions and specification details whilst using experience, skill and initiative to achieve excellent project outcomes.

    At times candidates will be expected to work a minimum 50% away (occasionally at short notice) and at night in all regions of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

    Candidates should be within commuting distance of Three Shires HQ, near Melton Mowbray, Leics.

    Site Foreman / Supervisor - Leicestershire

    Site Foreman / Supervisor Following our continued success Three Shires Ltd are currently seeking 2 experienced Site Foreman / Supervisor with specific knowledge, experience and qualifications in the forestry, fencing and landscaping sectors of the construction industry.

    The appointed candidate will motivate and lead their teams, drive performance and quality standards throughout, respond to client requirements and needs, and ensure the service is delivered in a planned and coordinated manner.

    A proven track record along with experience and knowledge of delivering in the sectors detailed above is essential for this post. The candidate must hold a valid Driving Licence (inc. trailer entitlement) and should preferably join our team with a range of valid sector specific tickets including; CSCS, SSSSTS, CPCS, NPORS, NPTC, PTS, FISS, FMO..

    Excellent people-management skills are sought along with good land based sector qualifications and considerable experience of working within a similar role.

    Candidates will be expected to maintain on-site Health, Safety and Machinery Inspection documentation at all times and therefore must be able to demonstrate good written communication and have previous experience of maintaining site records.

    At times candidates will be expected to work a minimum 50% away (occasionally at short notice) in all regions of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

    Countryside Operatives/Groundworker - Leicestershire

    Following our continued success Three Shires are currently seeking skilled and experienced Countryside Operatives to include Arborists, Fencers and Plant Operators to work in a construction and rail environment. Experience and qualifications in the forestry, fencing and ground works would be desirable.

    Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high degree of practical knowledge and skill across the range of Three Shires Ltd operations which include fencing, ecological works, environmental and commercial landscaping, and forestry.
